The Pontifical University of the Holy Cross is a center for university level studies in ecclesiastical sciences, established by the Holy See. It is made up of four Schools - Theology, Canon Law, Philosophy and Social Institutional Communication, all of which have full canonical power to confer Bachelor, Licentiate and Doctoral degrees.
Courses are conducted in English or Italian, and tuition is comparatively low.

Faculty of Theology, Philosophy, Canon Law, Civil Law. The University also includes the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family, the Pontifical Pastoral Institute Redemptor Hominis, and the School of Religious Studies Ecclesia Mater. Thomas More College of Liberal Arts Merrimack, NH; & Rome, Italy
As students emerge from the first two years, they choose a major in political science, philosophy, literature, or biology, disciplines that emphasize the achievable order of political existence, the correspondence of knowledge to being as such, the wisdom gained through mimetic form, and the knowledge proper to life science.

The sophomore class spends the spring semester in Rome, Italy. The Rome semester is offered each spring, and full-time sophomores participate.

Thomas More College also offers The Collegiate Summer Program for High-School Students, designed for students who have completed at least two years of high school. The courses include Literature, Philosophy, American Political Tradition, and Apologetics. The activities of the program are designed in such a way as to provide a unified setting for the learning that takes place in the classroom: daily chapel; daytrips to Boston (including the Freedom Trail), Maine, and Mt. Monadnock; daily swimming and games at Naticook Lake.
