This is Year III of a three year course.  (This three year course is the equivalent of a one year college Latin course.)  10.0 high school credits are awarded for this years completed course plan.  The class takes about 45 minutes four or five times weekly, including oral drill.  Auditory pronunciations and drills, teacher helps and learning aids can be found at www.wheelockslatin.com.  The separate answer keys for the first two texts given below are free once youve obtained a password.  Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for the password, informing them that you are a teaching associate of St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in Reno, NV, under the supervision of Deborah L. Yonan, Director.  The answer key to A Comprehensive Guide to Wheelocks Latin is included in the book itself.  A Comprehensive Guide to Wheelocks Latin is a resource and reference book for this year; it is not included in the course plan.
 
This years pace and plan of study is the same as Year II of Wheelocks Latin.  The lesson is first read in Wheelocks Latin, drill cards are made to be studied and listened to daily at www.wheelockslatin.com.  Next, the corresponding chapter is worked in Workbook for Wheelocks Latin. Then the translations at the end of the chapter are done in rough draft form.  The following week the Wheelocks Latin lesson is read again.  Then the Optional Self-Tutorial Exercises are done from the back of Wheelocks.  And finally, as the quiz for the lesson, the rough draft of the translations at the end of the chapter are edited for accuracy.  Mom, correct and grade this quiz immediately with the student.  Any lesson not mastered should be re-worked the following week, in a weeks time.
