Read what member families have said about their St. Thomas Aquinas Academy homeschooling experience.

We started homeschooling when our oldest was in Kindergarten. We started with a very traditional homeschooling curriculum with all the lesson plans and texts sent to us. My oldest son and I struggled through the first two years of his schooling battling over completing exactly what the lesson plans suggested. It was a

Our family has been using St. Thomas Aquinas Academy for 8 years. As the parents of 3 young children we needed a plan with very specific offerings that would accommodate the requirements that both my husband and I felt were desirable in a curriculum provider. When we decided to homeschool we searched for a Catholic classical

I feel so motivated after talking to my adviser. She really helps me to understand what needs to be done and how to make it really fun for the kids. What I really like is the tips that she gives me for dealing with the little ones while trying to school the older ones. I really feel that on my own I would have just been lost in the sea of information out

It was great speaking with you yesterday. Thank you so much for your advice and encouragement. I entered our meeting feeling discouraged and “wilted”, but felt refreshed and strengthened afterward.

We received our welcome packet promptly and my first conversation with someone about enrollment is what convinced me you all were the best choice of all the schools we were looking at.

My son just completed the 9th grade. This is our first year with STAA. I was very pleased with the help and especially the time and support given to my son and myself. The extra time was taken to give my son the special help he needed. STAA staff is open to finding a program that works for the student and when he was struggling

After completing 9th grade with St. Thomas Aquinas Academy, I did not hesitate to register my daughter for 10th grade. The consistent four-year high school overview helps me to feel secure with the broad picture of high school as well as where we are presently. The academically challenging subjects work together beautifully as a

Oh, I can't wait to tell everyone how wonderful you are!

We love the programs STAA advises us to use. They bring excitement to learning, especially for the subjects which are not are our greatest ones. The advice given is suitable to our family and our lifestyle; it helps us bond. We appreciate the advice given for it is individually given for our children for certain subjects like religion, reading,

I have three children, a son: age 8 (entering 3rd grade), a daughter: age 6 (entering 1st grade), and a pre-pre-school son: age 3. Last year we were recommended to teach "The Morning Offering" prayer as part of their Religion requirement. Myself a convert, and even my husband, a "cradle Catholic," were unaware of this prayer,

The assessment testing was quick and easy to do, so I didn't expect much valuable feedback. Boy was I wrong!!! It was like my advisor had met my kids and spent hours/days with them.

Our family so enjoyed our wonderful relationship with STAA as our [son] worked his way through high school. It was a wonderful and outstanding experience for him and we continue to suggest your program to all those who are looking for an excellent homeschool experience.

Since I am writing, I will also sing more praises of the Greek Studies plan. [My daughter] moaned over the timed-essay and then did very well. So easy to implement with the choose one reflection topic from each subject and then get ready, get set, go! Apparently the school also gave suggestions for the process essay in "Format Writing." Thank you! For a mom of many this is real time saver.
